CarryUPkid was born out of frustration and tired arms by Shannon and her mom, Myrna. Shannon lives in the beautiful state of Idaho where fishing, hiking, rafting, and greenbelt walking reign supreme. Her little girl, especially, would want to be carried after just a little walking. She struggled taking big double strollers that were too wide for some places, or little strollers that couldn’t be easily pulled or pushed through sand, or backpacks that were heavy and cumbersome. She thought, there must be a better way! That was when CarryUPkid was born. Shannon approached her mom with the idea and together they created the prototype for the CarryUPkid pack.
It provides space for snacks and wipes and other essentials and is easy on the back. When that little one wants to be carried it quickly converts to a seat that allows your hands to be free as you continue to enjoy the outing without holding the child in arms.
Although the child carrier market is highly competitive, we believe there is a place for the features of the CarryUPkid pack. The CarryUPkid pack is designed for parents, grandparents, guardians of young children, or any adult that has the care of young children. Even Shannon’s mom, Nana, has used and enjoyed it.
Our goal is to build and sell a high-quality child carrier and pack that will be useful and helpful to caregivers and safe for children.
