  • Includes a back pocket that can be accessed while carrying a child.
  • Helps transfer the weight of the child from the arms of the adult to the shoulder strap.

Yes. Every CarryUPkid pack comes with a safety strap. Always check to ensure all buckles, straps, and adjustments are secure before each use. Do not use the pack, safety strap, or child seat if the fabric is frayed worn or damaged or if the buckles are loose or damaged.

The safety strap helps keep the child from serious injury or death by supporting the back of the child. Ensure safety strap sits below child’s arms to avoid strangulation. Never place the safety strap around the child’s head or neck.

If a child lets go of the handle, they will be secured in the CarryUPkid pack by the safety strap and the user’s arms. It is recommended to keep your child awake to insure safe use.

Take special care when walking and leaning, always use the safety strap and keep hands free to assist and balance the child. Bend at the knees not at the waist.

Never use the CarryUPkid pack when balance and mobility are impaired because of exercise or activities.

No, the CarryUPkid pack is designed to hold one child while having the adult’s arms free to assist the child.

It is not recommended for use on the back. Placing the pack over the right shoulder, placing the pack over the left shoulder and adjusting the child to sit in the front of the adult’s body are the safest options.

No, never place a child facing outward on the CarryUPkid pack. To ensure safe use the child should face the adult and hold on to the safety handle.

The CarryUPkid pack is not intended for long term carrying. Overuse may result in back, neck, or leg pain. If discomfort or pain occurs in the shoulders, arms, hips or any other part of the body, discontinue use of the pack.

  • The CarryUPkid pack is ideal for walking, airports, shopping, parades, zoo, school functions, parks, aquariums, museums, amusement parks, and anywhere else your child may tire before the end of the adventure.
  • Do not use in showers, pools, or any other water environment.
  • Do not use while riding a bike, scooter, skateboard, or any motorized vehicle.

Machine wash cold, separately, on gentle cycle with mild detergent. DO NOT bleach. Wipe clean with a cloth or sponge between machine washings. Drip dry only. Do not iron. Wash child seat separately. 

The over the shoulder strap can be adjusted to wear over the right or left shoulder and lengthened to 111 inches. The child seat can be adjusted to fit your child. The safety strap can be lengthened and tightened securely.

Take great care when bending or leaning forward. Bend at the knees to avoid pitching the child backward. (See Instruction for Use link)

  • Monitor child while in the seat. Take frequent breaks and periodically check the child’s position. Assure your child is dressed properly for the weather. Periodically check the child’s comfort. Be aware that the child in the seat may suffer from the effects of the weather and temperature before you do. Don’t dress your child too warmly in the seat. Remember, your child will also feel the heat from your body.
  • Protect your child from the harmful effects of the sun.
